SUWANEE, Ga. — Police in Georgia are searching for a man they believe fatally stabbed a woman.

Gwinnett Police Corporal Michele Pihera says police were called to a home in the city of Suwanee on Monday afternoon by a family member who found the woman. She had been stabbed multiple times and died at a hospital later Monday.

The woman’s name hasn’t been released.

Pihera says police have responded to the home before for reports of domestic disputes between the woman who was killed and the man suspected in her death.

She says the man, a 33-year-old, had fled the home when police arrived. Authorities say the man hasn’t yet been charged.
