Brian DeWayne Adcock

HANOVER, INDIANA

Mr. Brian DeWayne Adcock, age 38, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on December 23, 1978 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Steven Wayne Adcock and Sandra Kay Robinson Griffin.

Brian was lovingly referred to by family and friends as Peter Cheeks.

He attended Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, and Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar.

He was previously employed as a lineman for American Energy, as a forklift driver at M&M Warehouse, and was most recently employed as at Century Tube in Madison.

He was united in marriage on Dec. 31, 2016 to Ashley Nicole Brown.

Brian was baptized on August 21, 2016 and was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church near North Vernon, Indiana, serving on the building committee and as an usher.

He enjoyed fishing, golf, corn hole, and was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts football and University of Louisville Cardinals basketball teams.

He loved kids and anything to do with kids.

Brian died on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 8:45 a.m. at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana from injuries suffered in a car accident.

Brian will be missed by his loving wife, Ashley Nicole Brown Adcock of Hanover; his children, Lilly Ann Ruth Adcock, Nathaniel Nate Dog Rae Calhoun, Layla Paig Calhoun and Jesslyn Nicole Calhoun; his loving father, Steven Wayne Adcock and his wife, Jo Ella of Nineveh, Indiana; his loving mother, Sandra Kay Robinson Adcock Griffin of Madison, Indiana; his loving sisters, Rebecca Payton and her husband, Mark, and Samantha Cornett, both of Carrollton, Kentucky, and Bridgett Morgan and her companion, Scott Weaver of East Enterprise, Indiana; his loving stepbrother, Thomas O’Brien and his wife, Elena, of San Francisco, California; his loving nieces and nephews, Shellie, Savannah, Alexis, Taylor, Hailey, Kyann, Sklya, Sarah, Heather, Hannah, Koleman, Kirsten, Mia, Anna, Camryn, David, Whitney, Natasha, Kristopher, Aaron, and Trent; his loving father-in-law and mother in law, Pastor David and Yvonne Brown of Madison, Indiana; his loving brothers-in-law, David Brown Jr. and his wife, Venus, of Madison, Indiana, Pastor Kris Brown and his wife, Nicole, of Booneville, Indiana, and Ryan E. Brown of Madison, Indiana, his loving sister-in-law, Dana Green and her husband, Gary, of Milton, Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Ruth Adcock, and Robert and Josephine LaPine Robinson; his brother, Stevie Wayne Cornett; and his stepsister, Nicole Renae Arkney.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 7, 2017, at 11 a.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.
