HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A 15-year-old accused of shooting another teen outside a north Alabama movie theater has turned himself in.

Local news outlets report that Huntsville police say the suspect turned himself in shortly after the shooting, which happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Police say the 16-year-old victim is expected to survive.

Police Lt. Stacy Bates said in an email to reporters that the shooting happened during an argument and that the two teens knew each other. The names of the suspected shooter and the victim are not being released because they are juveniles.
