General Ralph Cloud

FRANKLIN

General “Ralph” Cloud, 74, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, in Indianapolis.

He was born in St. Charles, Virginia, on March 6, 1943, to his parents, General Grant and Susan Marie Doll (Walters) Cloud.

He was the Owner/CEO of Circle Distributing Inc. Ralph enjoyed traveling, working on antique cars, and watching NASCAR. Ralph also enjoyed going to the beach, spending time at their condo in Florida, and spending time at Lamb Lake. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Carol Cloud of Franklin; three children, Doug Cloud of Franklin, Todd (Mary) Cloud of Whiteland, and Andrea (Thomas) White of Greenwood; one sister, Hazel (Gary) Hunter; five grandchildren, Kayla Barrett, Shaw Cloud, Krista Cloud, Grant Cloud, Kennadi White; and a brother-in-law, Don Bustle of St. Louis, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Fulks and an infant brother, Earl; and three sisters, Mildred Bustle, Lucille Ely, and an infant sister.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. Hwy. 31. A visitation will be from 2:00 p.m., until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Burial and a grave-side service will be at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, in Pennington Gap, Virginia on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
