MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. — State police say a Mountain Home woman who was part of a group riding bicycles on a northern Arkansas highway in the middle of the night was struck and killed by an SUV.

Television station KAIT said the accident occurred early Thursday on Arkansas 5 in Baxter County as several people rode along the highway. State police say the driver of the SUV struck some of the cyclists in a curve.

The dead woman was identified by troopers as 25-year-old Deniese McFall. Another cyclist was injured.
