NEW ORLEANS — A man and woman have been arrested after authorities say another man was attacked and kidnapped in Louisiana.

The Advocate reports 44-year-old Patrice Felton and 35-year-old Michael Jacobs were arrested after a 24-year-old man was attacked and kidnapped Monday.

The victim told New Orleans police that Jacobs punched him and another man in the face. Authorities say Jacobs pointed a gun, threatened to kill and forced the man into a vehicle. Authorities say Felton attacked the man with a gun.

Police arrived on the scene. Felton was arrest while Jacobs was captured later. The kidnapped man was treated for minor injuries.

Felton was charged with false imprisonment with a weapon and domestic abuse battery. Jacobs was charged with several offenses, including simple kidnapping.

It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
