NEW YORK — Police in New York City are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 38-year-old man.

The Daily News reports (http://nydn.us/2viMS0l ) the shooting occurred outside of a Bronx public housing complex around 11:45 p.m. Monday. Police say a man was shot in the face and torso.

The wounded man was taken to Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, where he died. Police have identified the victim as Anthony Holloway, of the Bronx.

No arrests have been made.
