A Greenwood man was arrested on a charge of sexual battery after a woman said he touched her inappropriately while she slept.
The woman told police she had been staying with some friends at their home in Greenwood in May. After they had gone to bed, she woke up to someone on her bed, touching her inappropriately, according to the Greenwood Police Department report.
She sat up to find Ryan Buck, 39, sitting on her bed. She told police Buck stroked her hand and told her about concerns he had about his marriage, the report said.
The woman left the house and called an acquaintance to tell him what happened. The next day, Buck text messaged the woman and the acquaintance to apologize for what happened, the report said.
Buck hired an attorney and declined to speak with police, the report said.
He was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was released on $1,200 bond.
