Dozens participate in Farmer’s Olympics

From egg tossing to the three-legged sack races, dozens participated in the 2017 Farmer’s Olympics.

“It’s a fun time to get together with friends and mess around,” Colton Marlin said. “Most of us are involved in the fair some way, so it gives us time to get together when we aren’t competing.”

Marlin has participated in the Farmer’s Olympics for a few years and said he will continue to come back as long as he can.

“Everyone should come out and watch or be part of it,” he said. “It’s a great time.”

Josh Terry has hobbled down the indoor arena for three years in the three-legged sack race, and he said this year is his year to win.

“I love laughing and hanging out with my buddies and making a fool out of myself,” Terry said. “But I’m competitive. I take this seriously, and I’m not going to lose.”
