The sheriff’s office is investigating a fifth report of vandalism in the Center Grove area in the past week.
On Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies were called to four reports of homes, vehicles and a park being vandalized with spray paint in the Innisbrooke and Wakefield West neighborhoods, off State Road 37, near Smith Valley Road.
On Thursday, another resident in the Wakefield West neighborhood reported his vehicle had been spray painted. He hadn’t noticed the vandalism until a co-worker pointed it out to him, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report.
The resident was able to get most of the paint off the vehicle, the report said.
