Arthur Neal “Art” Kincaid, 70, of Franklin, IN., passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his residence.

He was born January 16, 1947 in Whiteland. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime master carpenter. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 301 in Indianapolis, Greenwood American Legion Post 252 and Loyal Order of The Moose #2079 in Greenwood.

Survivors include his wife, Ann (Harris) Kincaid, whom he married on January 16, 2016 in Indianapolis; a daughter, Kristina J. Hancock (Rick L.) of Edinburgh; his mother, Martha J. (Legan) Williams of Franklin, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Lee Kincaid of Franklin, Shirley Knapp of Franklin, Deanna Brock (Elmer) of Linton, and Sandy Bay of Columbus; brothers, Bob Kincaid (Sue) of Franklin and Jerry Williams (Melissa) of Trafalgar.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. (Peavler) Kincaid on April 2, 2015 whom he married on May 9, 1964 in Franklin, a son Kevin Neal Kincaid on May 16, 2016, and three brothers Dwain Kincaid, Billy Williams and Jimmy Williams.

The Reverend Joe McAdams will conduct a service Monday July 24, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin with visitation from 2 p.m until service time with Navy honors to follow.

A graveside service will take place Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood with military honors.
