FRANKLIN
Wendell B. Buck, Sr., 76, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to the late Lovie and Walter Buck.
Wendell enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He loved spend time mowing and working in his garden.
He will be missed by his two dogs, Dozer and Missi.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darvell Buck; two sons, Wendell (Angela Atwood) Buck and Johnny (Lucinda Sneed-Mcmillian) Buck; daughter, Katy (David) Long; three brothers, Bill (Carol) Buck, Calvin (Julia) Buck and Larry (Cindy) Buck, sister, Betty Garrison; brother-in-law, Don (Judy) Harris and a sister-in-law, Pat Buck; several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren, Shawn (Tami) Long, Sara (Terry Kutruff) Buck, Craig (Michelin) Buck, Haley (J.T. Painter) Long, Tyler Buck, Nathan McMillian, Matt Barker and Josh Atwood; eight great-grandchildren, Ginger (Randy) Perry, Cole Long, Addison Buck, Elizabeth Buck, Jesslyn Nixon, Terry Kutruff III, Maggie and Grace; three great-great-grandchildren, Jennah, Clinton and Dakota Perry.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
