A Greenwood woman had to be extricated from her vehicle after it hit a fence.
Katie Calvert, 21, was driving in the 800 block of West State Road 144 in Bargersville at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday when she ran off the south side of the road, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Calvert overcorrected, crossed the road and struck a fence, the report said.
She became trapped in her vehicle. Bargersville firefighters removed her from the car, according to the report.
Calvert was taken to Methodist Hospital, where she was in critical condition Wednesday. The accident is under investigation.
