Make plans to come to downtown Franklin on Friday evening.
The fourth annual Daily Journal Franklin Fest starts at 6 p.m. Friday downtown. We’re closing East Court and Monroe streets to bring in food trucks, a beer garden and the band Toy Factory to put on a great show.
This year’s food lineup includes locals you love, such as Jivy’s BBQ, a slice of pizza from Brozinni, an ice cream cone from Mrs. Curl and Johnson’s BBQ. Newcomers to our event will sell Italian sausages, walking taco salads, cupcakes, caramel corn and lemon shakeups.
As always, bartenders from the Elks Club will sell you a cold one.
Bring your lawnchairs, your kiddos and your friends to downtown Franklin. The food trucks start serving at 6 p.m.
