A Greenwood woman was killed in an accident on Interstate 65 on Wednesday afternoon.
The single-vehicle crash happened just before 3 p.m. on I-65, just north of downtown.
Alisa Wagner, 51, was trapped in the vehicle and was found unresponsive with severe injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from Indiana
State Police.
Police are still investigating the crash, but suspect Wagner’s vehicle went off the road, struck a concrete median and then went into the ditch and rolled several times, the release said.
Police are trying to determine what caused Wagner’s vehicle to go off the road, the release said.
The crash closed several lanes on I-65 on Wednesday afternoon.
