Wilson S. Adams IV

UPTON, KY.

Wilson S. Adams IV, 36, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer that he fought with Superman-like strength. Wilson was a resident of Upton, Kentucky, where he had a small farm.

He was born Feb. 8, 1981, in Shakopee, Minnesota to Wilson “Pooge” Adams III (Sheri) from Trafalgar, and Janet (Petras) Adams from Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. Also surviving are his sisters, Jessica (Courtney) Cook from St.Clairsville, Ohio and Kaitlin (Josh) Adams from Daufuskie Island, South Carolina; his girlfriend, Pamela Hackett from Upton, Kentucky, and her daughter, Madison.

Wilson IV was also a proud uncle of Owen and Kravin (Jessica and Courtney).

He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, John and Betty Petras of Tiltonsville, Ohio and Poog and Jean Adams of Colerain, Ohio; and aunt, Julie Adams of Bridgeport, Ohio.

Wilson was a 2003 graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in business and later went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College in 2010.

Wilson was employed as a software engineer for PNC Bank the past 11 years.

Wilson was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, turkey hunting and just spending time outdoors. He was a very humble gentleman who was a friend to all and enjoyed his family very much.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to be offered to the annual kids fishing tournament sponsored by the Lamb Lake Bass Club of which Wilson was a member.
