Eddy R. Robinson

GREENWOOD

Eddy R. Robinson, age 64, of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Eddy was born on Sept. 10, 1952, in Gary to Richard and Delores (Sommers) Robinson. On June 14, 1975, he married the love of his life, Gretchen Fox, who survives. He was a truck driver for over 30 years working for Tennessee Trucking and Brothers Superior Trucking and a former member of The Teamsters. He was an avid hunter and member of Ducks Unlimited. He was also active in Greenwood Little League and Greenwood Bantam Football for several years with his three sons.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Gretchen Marie (Fox) Robinson; three sons, Gregory Robinson (Nikki), Indianapolis, Bradley Robinson (Allie) of Indianapolis and David Robison (Cassandra) of Greenwood; seven grandchildren, Brayden, Ali, Keaton, Logan, Ellery, Hunter and Camden; his mother, Dolores Robinson of Gary; one brother, Wayne Robinson (Penny) of Belton, Missouri; and many nieces nephews and cousins.

A funeral for Eddy will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be private.
