Our Lady of the Greenwood, 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood will host the church’s annual Hearts for Haiti Freedom cookout and beer/wine garden today. Festivities start at 6 p.m.
Food and drinks will be for sale. There will be a seating area, music and an area to watch fireworks later in the evening.
Admission is free. All profits will go to support St. Georges School and parish in Bassin-Bleu, Haiti, and nearby mountain schools of the parish.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South), Franklin, welcomes the community to watch the fireworks at the church July 3.
The parking lot and the lawn will be open. The church will have hot dogs for sale and free water and more. Restrooms will be open.

Revealing Light Baptist Church, 16130 U.S. 31 North, Edinburgh, will offer free parking for fireworks viewing July 4.
The church is hosting a free haircut event July 31.
All are welcome to attend the outreach event for a free haircut and can receive gift bags of free hygiene products from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
