Break-in reported at Small Town Pizza

Police were called to Small Town Pizza in Greenwood after a nearby resident heard glass breaking and shouting coming from inside the business.

At 2:56 a.m. Friday, police arrived to see a broken window and contacted the owner of the business. The owners went through the building with police to see if anything was stolen and did not find anything missing, according to the Greenwood Police Department report.

Several beer bottles were broken on the floor, and an unbroken, empty beer bottle also was found. A soda bottle was found near the kitchen, which looked as if someone drank out of it. A pocket knife was also located near the broken glass. All items were collected as evidence, the report said.
