INDIANAPOLIS
Andrew J. Spurlock, 26, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 16, 2017.
He was born on Dec. 29, 1990, in Indianapolis.
He was a 2009 Center Grove graduate, and attended Ball State and IUPUI.
Andrew, a beautiful kind-hearted soul, who loved life, loved family and enjoyed working out, all things sports, and recently discovered enjoyment in writing lyrics.
Survivors include his mother, Tracy J. (Grooms) Spurlock; grandfather, Larry Grooms and his wife, Joan; aunts and uncles, Trudie (Troy) Wilson, Trisha (Jeff) Davis, Hermon (Becky) Spurlock; and cousins, Jonathan (Karen) Spurlock, Corey Wilson, Kayleigh (Johnny) Schmultz, Jared Wilson, Derek (Kellie) Davis, Devon Davis, Jeremy Trent, T.J. Wilson, Bree Wilson, Amber Spurlock, Brandon Spurlock and Rhonda (Phillip) Saylor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Spurlock in 2006; and his grandparents, Gloria Grooms and Hermon and Norman Spurlock.
Graveside service will be at noon today at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, followed by a celebration of life from 1 to 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Church of Greenwood.
