GREENVILLE, S.C. — Authorities say a naked man, covered in blood had just killed his mother when he stole a car at knifepoint in South Carolina.

Greenville County deputies said in a news release Monday that 44-year-old Christopher Oliver is charged with murder.

Investigators say Oliver was taken into custody Saturday night after a 25-mile chase in the stolen car.

Authorities traced the car back to a Fountain Inn neighborhood, where they say they found Oliver’s 70-year-old mother, Que, dead inside from stab wounds.

Oliver is also charged with carjacking and grand larceny. He remains in jail and it wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
