Louise Flath, 68, of Sullivan, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born March 15, 1949, in Franklin, to Kenneth and Ellen Noel Bay. Louise was a 1967 graduate of Franklin High School, retired correctional officer, former cook at Sullivan County Community Hospital and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sullivan.
Louise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting blankets for family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; sisters, Patsy, Jeanette, Shirley and Faye; and brothers, Kenneth and Robert.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Crystal) of Sullivan; grandchildren Ben and Bailey; siblings, Linda, Buzz, Martha, Cotton and Rachel; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Unger officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
