100 block of S. Water Street: A man reported at 1:40 p.m. Sunday that a man punched him in the eye.

900 block of Timber Creek Lane: Police responded at 6 p.m. Sunday to a report of battery.

Thefts

  • 100 block of Spring Meadow Lane: Police responded at 6:44 a.m. Monday to a report of a stolen vehicle.
  • 700 Woodale Terrace: Police responded at 4:15 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
  • Red Roof Inn, 110 Sheek Road: Police responded at 12:37 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft.

Personal-injury accident

10:44 a.m. Saturday — State Road 44W., and County Road 700E., Franklin. Brady A. Phares, 26, Waldron and James Hensley, 73, Franklin. Phares reported minor hip/upper leg bleeding.

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Gerald Anthony Garcia, 43, 514 Carol Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of habitual traffic violations; held on $1,200 bond.

Jonathan B. Means, 25, 1056 Amy Court, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of auto theft/receiving stolen parts; held on $1,200 bond.

Justine Ruth Lovers Clark, 27, 140 Woodsdale, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $350 bond.

Samantha Mae Schlager, 31, Edinburgh; arrested on charges of domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance; held on $2,400 bond.
