ROCHESTER, N.Y.
James R. Marlett, 75, of Rochester, New York, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
He was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Letts, to the Rev. Robert L. Marlett and Mary A. (Austin) Marlett.
He married Carol (Hughes) Marlett; she survives.
James was a 1959 graduate of Greenwood High School, where he played center with the football team, and a graduate of Kalamazoo College and Colgate Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, New York.
Survivors include his wife, Carol (Hughes) Marlett of Rochester, New York; children Jennifer Marlett of Rochester, New York and Jeffrey Marlett (Roseann) of Albany, New York; three grandchildren; a sister, Rose Mary West (Ruel) of Seymour; and a niece, Barbara Cummings (Don) of Seymour.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Richard West.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
