A Greenwood woman was arrested after police said she crashed into a parked car and was intoxicated while driving drunk with her 6-year-old daughter in the vehicle.
Stacy Couture, 40, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and neglect of a dependent.
Couture left her Greenwood home Friday evening in search of her husband, who had left after an argument. With her 6-year-old daughter in the car, Couture drove to a relative’s home about 2 miles away, a Greenwood Police Department report said.
Couture hit and damaged her neighbor’s parked car, the report said.
After Couture arrived at her relative’s house, she tried to leave again with her daughter. Another woman stopped Couture from leaving with the child, and a family member called police. Couture had a blood-alcohol content of .19 percent, the report said.
Couture, 116 Burnswick Drive, was arrested and taken to Johnson County jail. She was released on $3,400 bond.
