Indy man charged with rape

A man was charged with rape after a girl reported he forced her to have sex and lab results matched his DNA, police said.

Justin T. Slack, 23, of Indianapolis, was charged with rape after the incident was reported in February.

A girl younger than age 18 told police Slack had forced her to have sex when they both spent the night at the same Franklin home, according to the police report.

The girl told Slack, who she had met for the first time that night, to stop, but he still forced himself on her, the report said.

Police had evidence tested, and it matched Slack’s DNA, the report said.

Slack told police the sex was consensual, the report said.

Slack, 2455 S. Audubon Road, was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was released on $16,000 bond.
