GREENWOOD
Donald J. “Don” Bracken, 77, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Indianapolis, to the late Glen and Mildred Bracken.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bracken; two sons, Mark (Liz) Bracken and Brian (Gayle) Bracken; seven stepchildren; sister, Margaret Spencer; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Bracken; former wife, Dazelee Bracken; and three brothers.
Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served our country in the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver for the Teamsters Local No. 135 and later was a school bus driver for Perry Township Schools.
Respecting Don’s wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
