MARTINSVILLE
William “Tom” Thomas Allen, 92, of Martinsville, died on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Franciscan St. Francis Hospice House in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his daughters, Cathy (Larry) Cohen of East Jordan, Michigan and Connie (Ron) Wininger of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Faye (Cherry) Allen.
Along with his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie, Robert, Ray, and James “Happy” Allen and his sisters, Marjorie Fowler and Susie and Ethel Allen.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville. Burial will follow after the service at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Martinsville Area Senior Center; envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
