Bullets fired at cars in Greenwood neighborhood

Police are investigating after after two vehicles were hit with bullets in a Greenwood neighborhood.

At 4:30 a.m. Monday, a resident on Sunset Boulevard, off Fry Road and U.S. 31, called police to report hearing gunshots. About a half hour later, the resident reported two vehicles had been hit by bullets, according to police reports.

A vehicle parked on the street and another in the driveway were struck a total of three times. Officers also found five spent casings on Fry Road, the report said.

Police are investigating, including testing the casings for fingerprints, the report said.
