Residents asked to attend planning meeting

Franklin residents are asked to attend a meeting next week to give input on a master plan for the city.

City leaders are starting work to update the city’s thoroughfare plan, which is a longterm plan for what changes or additions need to be made to streets, trails, sidewalks and bike lanes.

The point of the meeting is to discuss the thoroughfare plan possibilities and gather feedback and direction from residents.

A public session is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beeson Hall, 396 Branigin Boulevard.
