• 2800 block of U.S. 31 North: A woman reported at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday that someone tried to open credit in her name.
• 400 block of W. Adams Street: A woman reported at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday that someone used her debit card fraudulently.

Thefts

• 1600 block of Sweetgum Drive: Police responded at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.
• Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday for a report of shoplifting. A juvenile was issued a summons to appear in court.
• Macy’s, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday for a report of shoplifting. A man was issued a summons to appear in court.

Shoplifting

Walmart, 882 S. State Road 135: Police responded at 7:28 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shoplifting.

Personal-injury accident

11:40 a.m. Tuesday — U.S. 31 South and Stop 18 Road. Jennifer Stacey, 25, Beech Grove and Tracey L. McCauley, 42, 7801 Jaclyn Drive, Indianapolis. McCauley reported a head injury.

Property-damage accidents

• 3:41 p.m. Tuesday — Meridian and Pearl streets.
• 12:18 p.m. Tuesday — Main Street and Monticello Drive.
• 1:37 p.m. Saturday — County Line Road and U.S. 31.
• 4:18 p.m. Friday — Interstate 65 at County Line Road.

Burglary

5100 block of Old Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday that someone entered a home he had for sale and stole the stove burners.

Theft

1000 block of Hospital Road: A man went to the sheriff’s office to report at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday that someone entered his vehicle and stole shoes and a handgun.

Fraud

1900 block of S. County Road 725W, Morgantown: A woman reported at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday that someone used her bank account to make  more than $700 in purchases.

Lawson Ray Allen, 36, 302 E. County Line Road, Edinburgh; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $500 bond.

Allie M. Schock, 23, 395 Schooley Drive, Greenwood; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana/hashish and possession of paraphernalia; released on $2,000 bond.
