Motorists can expect ramp and lane closures at State Road 44 and Interstate 65 in Franklin starting next week.

The closures are being done while crews finish paving work at the interchange. Motorists can expect ramp closures during the day while work is ongoing. Overnight, crews will be working on the interstate between the Whiteland exit, and just south of Franklin, requiring lane closures, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Here is where commuters can expect work starting next week, as long as the weather cooperates:

Monday: Ramps on the southwest and northwest side of the interstate will close during the day to be milled and patched.

Tuesday: Ramps on the southeast and northeast side of the interstate will close during the day to be milled and patched.

Wednesday: Overnight, all ramps will be closed for patching.

Thursday: Overnight, the northwest and southwest ramps will close for paving.

Friday: Overnight, the northeast and southeast ramps will close for paving.

Saturday: Overnight, all ramp shoulders will be repaved, requiring closures.
