Home broken into guns, laptop stolen

A home in eastern Johnson County was broken into late last week, and guns, game systems and other items were taken, the sheriff’s office said.

The homeowners discovered the burglary on Friday evening, and told the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office that the home in the 4000 block of North County Road 750 East in the Needham area had been broken into sometime since Thursday evening, according to the sheriff’s office report.

The sheriff’s office is investigating.

The residents reported that four guns, multiple video game systems, a laptop computer, flat screen TV and jewelry had been taken, the report said.
