NINEVEH
Marcella Marie Roach, 89, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was a resident of Nineveh.
She was born on April 29, 1928, in Anderson to Earl and Willadean (Lay) Burgett. Marcella married Woodrow Roach on July 7, 1945. He preceded her in passing.
She is survived by two sons, Gayland (Debra) Roach of Nineveh and Lonnie (Vickie) Roach of Nineveh; one daughter, Debra Robbins of Edinburgh; brother, Robert Burgett of Pensacola, Florida; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and three sister-in-laws.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, husband, three brothers, two daughters, three grandsons and one son-in-law.
Marcella was employed by United Technology Automotive as a production operator for 23 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of the Nineveh Senior Center.
Friends may visit the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St., (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nineveh Cemetery.
