Marlene (Roe) Palmer, 78, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her children, Gwen Mattingly of Indianapolis, Laura Palmer-Hill of California, Roxanne (Richard Cromer) Jacobs, Daisy Rose Abernathy and Ronald “Rocky” (Nancy) Palmer, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Carol J. Duncan of Indianapolis; and a brother William (Rosie) Roe also of Indianapolis; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Rocky” Palmer Sr. and one daughter, Marilee Stevenson.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N.U.S 31. A second visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
