TRAFALGAR
Stanley M. Swartz, 70, of Trafalgar, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
He was born June 26, 1946, in Martinsville to Marshall J. Swartz and Mildred I. (Sisson) Swartz. He was a 1965 graduate of Trafalgar High School and was a United States Air Force reserve veteran. He had been a machinist tool and die maker for Mobile Drilling in Indianapolis for 30 years.
Surviving are his children, Jeffrey G. Swartz of Trafalgar and Angela N. Stahl (Dan) of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Zachery Swartz, Shania Dodson, Shelby Dodson, Natalie Swartz, Gunnar Swartz, Kylie D. Stahl and Camren D. Stahl; and a brother, Robert Swartz (Paige) of Nineveh.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Delores Swartz.
A service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin, where a visitation will take place from 5 p.m. until service time Monday at the mortuary.
