The Franklin American Legion will host the following events this month:
- May 21: Cross project, putting crosses for veterans on courthouse lawn, 8 a.m.
- May 26: Grill only
- May 29: Memorial Day ceremony at courthouse, 11 a.m.; pitch-in at post following courthouse ceremony. Post will be closed after pitch-in
- June 3: Biscuits and gravy breakfast, 7 to 10 a.m., $3 all-you-can-eat; 10 a.m., board meeting
