Greenwood’s Cutter makes college pick
Jacob Cutter, a senior on the Greenwood baseball team, has signed a letter of intent to play for Greenville College in Illinois beginning next year.
The Panthers are an NCAA Division III program.

Golf outing to support athletics programs
The inaugural Griz Golf Classic, a fundraiser for all of Franklin College men’s and women’s sports teams, will be conducted Aug. 4 at Hillview Country Club in Franklin.
Registration is open for the scramble, which will include morning and afternoon sessions. Cost is $100 per person.
A consolidation of past outings held for individual teams, the Griz Golf Classic gives participants the opportunity to designate portions of their entry fee or sponsorships to the sport or sports of their choice. Registration deadline is July 28.
