State Road 135 patching begins

A northbound lane on a section of State Road 135 in Greenwood will have nightly closures for repairs through the next 10 days.

The right northbound lane of State Road 135 will be closed for patching from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through about May 27, according to an Indiana Department of Transportation news release.

Work will take place between Curry Road and County Line Road, the release said.

The repairs are part of a $6.1 million preservation project on section of U.S. 31 and State Road 135 in Johnson County, the release said.

Once work on the right northbound State Road 135 lane is complete, repairs to the southbound right lane will begin, the release said.

Repairs on U.S. 31 between County Line Road and Stop 18 Road finished earlier this week, the release said.
