GREENWOOD
June Marlene Harris, 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Kindred Southpointe in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born on April 30, 1942, in Johnson County, to Ralph and Lola (Robertson) Terrell.
She married Willard Dean “Buck” Harris on Sept. 21, 1960. He preceded her in passing on May 9, 2014.
Survivors include her children, Donna Reimer (Rob), Dennis Harris (Ivy) and Darrell Harris; grandchildren, Miranda Stapelton (Nathan), Brandy Lawrence (Aaron), Jared Harris (Andrea), Kristin Reimer, Dennis Harris, Travis Harris; great-grandchildren, Jackson Stiles, Wyatt Stapleton, Kaylee Dibblee, Bayleigh Stapleton, Maveryk Harris, Ethan Stapleton, Emma June Lawrence; and sister Johanna Burchett.
She was preceded in passing by her siblings, Perry Terrell, Marie Birchfield, Wilma Meyer, Lena Lambert and Nina Norman.
June attended Franklin community schools.
She was employed as a cook at the Indiana Masonic Home for 25 years, retiring in the late 1990s.
June was a member of the Mount Zion Assembly in Franklin.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday at Mount Zion Assembly in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
