FRANKLIN
Martha “Lorene” (McMurray) Stokes, 84, of Franklin, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her five sons, Steve Stokes, Dave Stokes (Robin), Mike Stokes (Maria), Rob Stokes (Michele) and Tony Stokes; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald McMurray; and a sister, Kathleen Sneed Dean (Cliff).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Stokes.
The Reverend Fred Brown will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Friday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
