Braves overpower Edinburgh

Indian Creek won for the seventh time in eight games, riding a big fourth inning to an 11-4 home win against Edinburgh on Friday.

Down 1-0 after three innings, the Braves (10-6-1) put up six runs in the fourth, then followed with two in the fifth and three in the sixth to put the game away. Dylan Sprong drove in three runs from the bottom of the order, and Eric Braughton knocked in a pair and scored twice.

Coltan Henderson had an RBI triple for the Lancers (7-11).

Trojans take care of Westfield

Center Grove finished the week in style, rolling to a 4-1 victory against Westfield on Friday.

Emily Hoy and Maddie Weeks posted victories at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively, and the Trojans swept both doubles points. Isabella Schoolcraft and Cassidy Hardin were victorious at No. 1, and Ellie Strube and Carleigh Hardin won at No. 2.
