Overnight roadwork continues on U.S. 31

Overnight repairs on U.S. 31 are expected to resume Sunday evening after being delayed by rain the past week.

Two lanes will be closed in each direction from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the stretch of U.S. 31 from Stop 18 Road to County Line Road, an Indiana Department of Transportation news release said.

The asphalt patching is expected to last one week, the release said.

Once the work on that section of U.S. 31 is complete, repairs will begin again on sections of State Road 135 between Bargersville and Stones Crossing Road and between Curry and County Line roads, the release said.

Daytime repairs on State Road 135 will include curb work, which will require short-term closures of lanes between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., the release said.
