A man found deceased in his vehicle outside a Greenwood motel likely died of a drug overdose, the county coroner said.
The man was found at 6:20 a.m. Monday in his car parked outside a motel on Main Street in Greenwood.
His family has been notified, and the cause of death is preliminarily a drug overdose, county coroner Craig Lutz said. An autopsy was not conducted. The coroner is waiting on results of a toxicology screen before determining an official cause of death.
