Local wind ensembles competed this weekend at state music association events.
Greenwood Community High School’s wind ensemble performed at the Indiana State School Music Association state qualifying event at Warren Central High School. The band earned all gold ratings in performance and sight reading and scored high enough to earn a “with distinction” award.
Center Grove High School’s wind symphony and ensemble both received gold ratings.
The school’s wind ensemble will perform at 9:20 a.m. Saturday at Lawrence Central High School.
Whiteland Community High School’s wind symphony also earned a gold rating.
