REDDICK, Fla.
Robert Thomas Lutes, 89, of Reddick, Florida, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. He was born Feb. 7, 1928, in Lawrence County to the late Vernon and Ruby Combs Lutes.
He was formerly employed with Huber, Hunt & Nichols, Indianapolis as well as operating and owning his own tree nursery with his spouse, Margaret Lutes.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; daughters, Cheryl and Vickie Lutes; three grandchildren, Angie Jacobo, Rob Gaskin and Neal Houpt; six great grandchildren, Lance, Alissa, Maggie, Braden, Luke and Kimberly, his brother, Bill Lutes of Whitewater, Kansas and sister, Lucille Hartley of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Lutes.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road. Funeral service will be private for family. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
