NAPLES
Helen Ashley passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, after a brief illness at the age of 98. She was best known as the “Naples High School Lunchroom Lady”. Helen was a residence of Naples since 1965.
She is survived by her sons, Don and Mark; by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle “Bud” Ashley and son, Rex Ashley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh by the Rev. J. Kirby Rupp. Calling will be from noon until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
