Linda Kay Earnest, 67, of Anderson, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

She was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Columbus. She was the daughter of John William and Helen (McElroy) King.

She is survived by sons, Christopher W. (Prentice Simpkins Jr.) Blanton of Austin, Texas and Robert E. (Michelle) Blanton of Speedway, daughters, Theresa A. (Ricky) Burton of Greenfield and Marsha (Millard) Johns of Anderson; companion, Tom Dunigan Sr. of Anderson; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry King and Stephen King, both of Cave City, Kentucky, Kenneth King of Kentucky and Lindley King of Taylorsville, sisters, Mary Alice Burris of Washington and Kathleen McCarty of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy Lynn Johnson; brothers, Christopher, Ronald, John, Timothy and Donald King, sisters, Martha Powers, Janice Hughes and Bottz King.

She was a member of the Edinburgh Assembly Of God Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, fishing, gardening and cleaning.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.
