GREENFIELD
Donald E. Campbell, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Golden Living Center, Greenfield.
He was born May 16, 1937, in Franklin, to the late Ward M. and Helen (Taylor) Campbell.
Don attended Franklin Community Schools, graduating in 1955. He attended Franklin College after high school. He married Donna Robbins on Aug. 16, 1980, at the Franklin First Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, Dennis Campbell of Indianapolis and Timothy Campbell of Ohio, and a sister, Martha (Eddy) Teets of Franklin.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; and brothers, William, Paul, Richard and Robert Campbell.
He was formerly employed as an agent for Metropolitan Insurance Company and the Warren School District, Indianapolis. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves at Camp Atterbury.
There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. May 4 at Park Cemetery, Greenfield, with Pastor Homer Ford officiating.
