Frances Jean Burnett

Frances Jean Burnett, 69, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at her residence in New Whiteland.

She was born May 24, 1947, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, to Hobert and Pearl (Roy) Tucker.

She married Robert Thomas Burnett on Nov. 4, 1993. He lovingly survives.

She is also survived by two sons, Phillip (Lisa) Taylor and Jeff (Gina) Taylor; grandchildren, Kayla, Brooklyn, Tasha, Jaylyn, Tiffany, Tori, Taylor and Tyler; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorene (Ernest) True and Nelda Grimes; and one brother, Carson (Wilma) Tucker.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; and siblings, William, Kenny, Virgil, Joseph and Carl Tucker and Maxine Bray.

She attended school in Greenwood.

Frances worked as a cashier at Marsh Supermarket, retiring after 38 years of dedicated service.

She was a member of Franklin Church of the Nazarene.

Frances loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with Bob and her family.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, 140 Branigin Road, Franklin, and 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Rev. Max Downs will conduct the celebration of Frances’ life. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
